In Galatians 4:4 it says that God sent his Son at just the right time, have you ever made a request to God and been impatient when it didn’t get answered right away? Why do you think it’s hard to wait for his timing?

God’s rescue mission was intended to free mankind from the heavy burden of the law, the law we weren’t able to keep. Have you ever felt stuck or unable to escape from something? How would it feel to know someone was on a mission to save you from those things? 

 

It’s amazing to know that God was on a mission to save each us, but did you know that in order to complete this mission a price had to be paid? God the Father sent his Son Jesus to be born of a woman, to live life like you and me, and to die for the payment of our sin. Have you ever stopped to think of the tremendous price God paid for you? 

 

It may have been a high price to pay, but God thought it was worth it to have you become a part of his family. While we may not always feel that we are worthy of such a sacrifice, God has already decided what he was willing to do for us. How does it feel to know that God was willing to pay such a large price for you, despite your mistakes? 

 

Is it easy or difficult for you to view God as a loving Father? Why?
