BUILDING A COMMUNITY WITHIN A COMMUNITY

GROUPS

HOME

We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Living in community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why LifeGroups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.

At Pathway Home Groups are the living building blocks that form our church. Within the Home Groups, people are changed, strengthened and create lasting friendships. Their God-given unique gifts and talents are identified, nurtured and developed. In our LifeGroups, we learn to mutually inspire, support, and encourage one another in our pursuit of being a committed community, devoted to following Jesus Christ.

What are Home Groups?

These are groups of people (usually 6-14 people) who are exploring together what it means to follow Jesus. They typically meet once a week to grow together in relationships, in the teachings and practices of Jesus, and to live these out together in the midst of our local community.

Each group may have a slightly different format, but typically each will have elements of food, friendship-building times, Bible study, prayer, and care ministry to one another and to those in need in our city.

Life Groups, put simply, are where you will be cared for, and where you can care for others. It’s where you will be known and loved, and know and love others. It’s where you’ll feel part of the Pathway family, and God’s family.

We’ve all been part of a disorganized workplace or group and had our motivation sapped. Add to that an impulse within all of us that prefers independence, and you have a world in which few individuals and organizations ever realize their full potential. What if everyone’s life could be better by aligning their gifts around common mission, vision and strategy?
