Core Values

LIFT UP

Am I growing and helping others grow spiritually?

Have you ever thought about what spiritual growth looks like? Can you measure it by how often you go to church or by how many ministries you’re involved in or by how much you give? Sometimes those things may reflect spiritual growth, but they aren’t at the hear of it. At the hear of spiritual growth is learning how God wants us to live so that as His children, we can please Him by living that way.

SCRIPTURE

Colossians 1:9-10

BOTTOM LINE

When you look up, you lift up.

BUILDING ALIGNMENT

Am I advancing our mission, vision and strategy?

We’ve all been part of a disorganized workplace or group and had our motivation sapped. Add to that an impulse within all of us that prefers independence, and you have a world in which few individuals and organizations ever realize their full potential. What if everyone’s life could be better by aligning their gifts around common mission, vision and strategy?

Your gifts have maximum impact when aligned around a common mission, vision and strategy.

BOTTOM LINE

Acts 2:42-47

SCRIPTURE

LOVE BIG

Am I showing grace and love to everyone person I interact with?

Love is God’s plan. This has been shown throughout the history of the Bible from the time of creation, to the gift of His son Jesus, to Jesus allowing Himself to be crucified for out sins, to the resurrection, to the loving promise of Jesus’ return through the second coming to take His bride who are the Christians home for eternity in Heaven. This is love my friends. As it states in 1 Corinthians 13:13, “But the greatest of these is love.”NIV. This goes to show that God’s plan was, is and always will have love about in it.

1 Corinthians 13:13

SCRIPTURE

BOTTOM LINE

Love moves you into maturity.

MAKE IT BETTER

Am I allowing what is good to stand in the way of what could be great?

Why is work and even family life so uninspiring at times? Sometimes we expect our boss or our spouse to make work and life awesome. But the scripture has a very different approach. One that challenges everyone to bring something significant to their work, to their family and to life.

SCRIPTURE

Ephesians 6: 5-9

BOTTOM LINE

Nothing stays mediocre if your heart is fully engaged.

PUSH A BROOM

Am I seeking to serve others or do I expect to be served?

Selfishness is not an attractive quality in others, but it’s a quality that comes naturally to all of us. Why battle it? And if you don’t look out for yourself , who will? Jesus provides a radically different perspective and completely different way to find what you’re really looking for.

SCRIPTURE

Matthew 16: 24-27

BOTTOM LINE

You find your life when you give it away.

MAKE IT HAPPEN

Am I willing to help find solutions to obstacles?

Somebody should do something about that. We’ve all thought it. And most of us have said it. Maybe that’s why things never change. So what are you waiting for? Who are you waiting for? What if you discovered God has uniquely positioned you to make it happen?

SCRIPTURE

1 Samuel 17: 1-37

BOTTOM LINE

The someone you’re waiting for is you.

CHOOSE TRUST

Am I believing the best about others?

Love is God’s plan. This has been shown throughout the history of the Bible from the time of creation, to the gift of His son Jesus, to Jesus allowing Himself to be crucified for out sins, to the resurrection, to the loving promise of Jesus’ return through the second coming to take His bride who are the Christians home for eternity in Heaven. This is love my friends. As it states in 1 Corinthians 13:13, “But the greatest of these is love.”NIV. This goes to show that God’s plan was, is and always will have love about in it.

SCRIPTURE

Romans 12: 9-16

BOTTOM LINE

When you believe the best about others you tend to get the best from others.
