Haley Enns

Serving with TeachBeyond

Haley teaches Grade 5 at El Camino Bilingual School on the northern coast of Honduras. The mission of the El Camino is to see students grow into leaders who will transform their communities and country through exceptional Christian education and discipleship. The school serves around 200 local students between pre-kindergarten to Grade 9.

Haley is in her fifth year of serving at El Camino and has taught a variety of elementary grades. She also works as part of the school’s administration team. Haley participates in a local church, Bible study and leads a weekly Bible Club with a small group of teenage girls.

Haley is sent by TeachBeyond, a sending organization whose mission is to provide transformational education services as part of God’s ongoing mission to transform individuals and communities into all He intends.

Rudy & Nits de Guia

Serving in the Philippines

Hi! We’re Rudy and Nits de Guia, a husband-and-wife team passionate about sharing Jesus and serving our community here in the Philippines. We have four amazing kids, and even our daughter and her husband are now in the mission field too!

Rudy focuses on building strong relationships with local pastors and leading water projects in communities without clean water—using these efforts as a bridge to share the Gospel. Nits leads our community development work, especially through a student sponsorship program that helps kids access education and break free from poverty.

Through Bible studies, feeding programs, campus ministry, and even organizing mass weddings for couples who can’t afford one, we’ve seen lives transformed by God’s love. We also welcome mission teams from around the world who want to serve alongside us.

Our dream is to build a student and worship center—a place where young people can learn, grow, and hear about Jesus. If you’d like to be part of this mission, we’d love to connect!

Cecilia & Irena

El Ro-í Ministry Centre

Cecilia was born and raised in Central America but moved to Canada in her early teens. She grew up in a religious family environment but discovered a relationship with Jesus as she started reading the Bible for the first time in the late 90’s while in Thunder Bay, ON. Her relationship with the Lord grew stronger when she moved to BC and found a church family that walked alongside her as she went through a journey of not only spiritual growth but also of emotional healing. Through their encouragement and support, Cecilia was able to attend Millar College of the Bible for 4 years, including an internship in Bolivia. It was during these 4 years that her calling to full-time ministry overseas was solidified and began her career service in El Salvador in 2011. She was blessed with a beautiful, adopted daughter in 2015 (Irena). The Lord has used the blessing of a child later in life to His glory as she continues to reach out to the many families in the community of Tutultepeque.

Cecilia’s current ministry with Action International Ministries is working in her native country of El Salvador where she reaches out to kids and families through a holistic ministry called “El Ro-i Ministries”. The name for this ministry is taken from Genesis 16:14, as it is Cecilia’s passion for the people of this community to have a personal encounter with the Lord who sees them and to disciple them in the Word of God. This takes place in a rural and poverty-stricken community consisting of about 3000 people. Some of the projects include: kid’s and youth Bible Ministries, adult Bible Studies, a Church plant, a Christian Kindergarten Project, hosting a house building team from Alberta, and many more ministries in this rapidly growing work of the Lord.  All to His Glory always!

Reilly Smith

Youth for Christ

I have the incredible opportunity to serve at Youth For Christ in Morden, MB. At Youth For Christ our goal is to see every young person living fully in Christ, and we will preach Christ, show the love and care of Christ and do our best to embody Christ until that happens, which means we plan to be busy until He returns! At YFCM (Youth For Christ Morden), we primarily work with vulnerable and at-risk youth. For example, those who come from abusive homes, struggle in school, are in foster care,  struggle with drug/alcohol abuse, and/or other issues. We run a variety of programs which are focused on building relationships with teens, but these programs are only vehicles to build relationships with teens through which we can show them the love of Christ, which involves caring for their physical, spiritual, relational and mental needs (Yes, this includes sharing the good news of Jesus! To show the whole love of Jesus must involve this!)

As for my role personally, I am the Ministries Director at YFC Morden. This means I oversee all the ministry at both our Morden and Pilot Mound locations, I supervise our ministry staff and still get involved in frontline ministry at various times throughout the year as well. I have amazing staff I get to work with and it is a true joy to see them lead their volunteer teams and build relationships with teams.

Thank you for your partnership, both through prayer and finances. I have the dear pleasure of being both a missionary and a congregant at Pathway, thank you for that in particular as well.
