Rudy & Nits de Guia

Serving in the Philippines

Hi! We’re Rudy and Nits de Guia, a husband-and-wife team passionate about sharing Jesus and serving our community here in the Philippines. We have four amazing kids, and even our daughter and her husband are now in the mission field too!

Rudy focuses on building strong relationships with local pastors and leading water projects in communities without clean water—using these efforts as a bridge to share the Gospel. Nits leads our community development work, especially through a student sponsorship program that helps kids access education and break free from poverty.

Through Bible studies, feeding programs, campus ministry, and even organizing mass weddings for couples who can’t afford one, we’ve seen lives transformed by God’s love. We also welcome mission teams from around the world who want to serve alongside us.

Our dream is to build a student and worship center—a place where young people can learn, grow, and hear about Jesus. If you’d like to be part of this mission, we’d love to connect!

Cecilia & Irena

El Ro-í Ministry Centre

We are serving in El Salvador, both Salvadorian born with dual citizenship to Canada. I became a Christian in the early two thousands and later attended Millar College of the Bible in Saskatchewan. In addition, I did my fourth year studies in Bolivia and have now been working in El Salvador since 2011.  In 2015, Irena came into my life as a 3 month old and it is an honor to call her my daughter. We run a Centre called El Ro-I Ministries which is taken from Genesis 16:14 “the well was called Beer Lahai Roi” which means well of the Living One who sees me. This project serves the people of Tutultepeque, El Salvador through Kid’s Ministry, Youth ministry, Bible studies for adults, a Church plant, teacher/tutoring/kindergarten projects and much more. The Lord has done many wonderful things in our midst and will continue to trust Him as we serve Him wherever He will have us.

Let me know if you have any further questions.  As for the updates, I do have you on my list and hope that you are getting my newsletters.  However, I will double check again.  Thank you for letting me know.  Blessings,

Reilly Smith

Youth for Christ

I have the incredible opportunity to serve at Youth For Christ in Morden, MB. At Youth For Christ our goal is to see every young person living fully in Christ, and we will preach Christ, show the love and care of Christ and do our best to embody Christ until that happens, which means we plan to be busy until He returns! At YFCM (Youth For Christ Morden), we primarily work with vulnerable and at-risk youth. For example, those who come from abusive homes, struggle in school, are in foster care,  struggle with drug/alcohol abuse, and/or other issues. We run a variety of programs which are focused on building relationships with teens, but these programs are only vehicles to build relationships with teens through which we can show them the love of Christ, which involves caring for their physical, spiritual, relational and mental needs (Yes, this includes sharing the good news of Jesus! To show the whole love of Jesus must involve this!)

As for my role personally, I am the Ministries Director at YFC Morden. This means I oversee all the ministry at both our Morden and Pilot Mound locations, I supervise our ministry staff and still get involved in frontline ministry at various times throughout the year as well. I have amazing staff I get to work with and it is a true joy to see them lead their volunteer teams and build relationships with teams.

Thank you for your partnership, both through prayer and finances. I have the dear pleasure of being both a missionary and a congregant at Pathway, thank you for that in particular as well.
